Car Rental Options Uganda

For now, travelers who visit Uganda choose the car rental option than a customized safari. It’s not only flexible but also cost friendly. With this travel option you do most of the things by yourself such as drafting an itinerary, reserving accommodation, and arranging the car for your road trip.

Take a Car only

With this you hire a car of any type and go for self-drive. Cars n stock include the Toyota Rav 4, Land cruiser Prado (TX/TZ), Land cruiser V8, Safari Van, Super custom, and the coaster bus. They all come with a four wheel drive system. You ether drive yourself or hire a driver to take you around. For this you use rooms at the lodges in the parks or hotels in the cities for your accommodation.

4×4 Rooftop tent Car + Camping gear

We provide you a 4×4 Car with a tent fixed at the top of its roof plus the set of camping gear. Not every car can carry the rooftop tent. We have specific jeeps such as the Land cruiser Prado, V8, GX, VX, and the Nissan hard top. Other vehicles can’t afford it. You go to any place using this vehicle with your accommodation at the top. No reason to look at the lodges and hotel rooms. You stay at the reserved campsites.

Rooftop tent Car with a Driver

For this, you take the full package of a roof tent car with a driver. On top of the car rental cost, you pay the extra charge to facilitate the driver and the rate is 40 USD per day. His responsibility is to take you to various places you prefer to see in Uganda. The driver usually comes with a ground camping tent to cater for his night stay. Don’t forget to share your route plan with him.
